left side stomach pain and mid back pain, PLEASE HELP

Hi everyone,

Please help me

Has anyone experienced this, what was the outcome for them?

My symptoms started with shoulder pain and upper back pain 6 months ago.

I have now noticed pain in the left side of my stomach, close to my ribs and under my left rib cage which usually comes on after I have had something to eat. Sometimes it is not related to food

Also recently, I have left sided mid back pain when I eat. I just have to put food in my mouth and it starts. It feels as though my back is digesting the food.

I have had lots of test and everything came back normal.

Please help!

Did you go for an endoscopy? It sounds a bit like gastritis. I've been dealing with upper abdominal discomfort for some months now and sometimes, it radiates to my back on the right side. I recommend getting checked by your GP or a GI specialist maybe.

thank you for your reply. Yes. I have had 2 endoscopies and I have been told I have mild gastritis. nothing else. It is just so distressing when it starts

    Hi

I too started with RUQ pain and now its in my stomach and radiates to my back right up my spine. I have been prescribed high dose Omeprazole and am waiting for a gastroscopy. Some days mine goes away and i think yippee its gone and then the next its back again. Its really annoying.

My thoughts exactly! Sometimes it goes away and I feel better only for it to return again. It's really annoying tbh
