It sounds like chronic Epididymitis to me. I've suffered from this for the last 2 years. Seen Urologist twice on 2 seperate occassions. I also had 2 seperate ultrasounds of my abdomen with everything all clear. I take Amitripyltine for it but this makes me sleepy and decreased libido and Delayed Ejaculation.

I have pain in left buttock (gluteus), left groin, left testicle is sometimes going inside body during sexual intercourse or even masturbating. Can be a bit of tingling feeling in the penis, left hand side of the shaft. Posture is bad, gait is like a duck walk. and some serious tension in knees. Physiotherapist did a scan with some tests and said gluteus medius are weak and pelvis is tilted and all this is causing a lot of problems. Sometimes I do some nice stretching and work-out and it goes away for a day, but then it comes back. Drugs are not the solution, gym and being active in the pelvis, strengthen the ass muscles is the key. Hope it helps. Took me 7 years to figure out what's wrong with me.

Hello,
i am suffering from the same thing and may have found a solution. So my right testicle, abdomen where appendix was, around to my low back, and down my right leg pain is so severe that it disables me everyday for about 4-6 hours and nothing i do makes it better. I have had multiple ultrasounds, CT scans, MRI of my back, and actually went through hernia surgery on my right inguinal area and still the pain persists. I am about ready to give up because it is ruining my life. Been to several urologists, hernia specialist, GI doctor, you name it. Nothing has helped. I was told i have epididymitis in the very beginning of this which started in October. I read several of these posts and been on several blogs. Someone in one of them said try Keflex antibiotic cause it is made especially for UTI's and infections in that area to kill the bacteria. I have been taking it for 2 days now and the pain has not come back even though its been every night for two months. So i am hopeful this will work. If not I don't know what to do but i thought i would share a possible cure/remedy. All the doctors just keep saying well sometimes men just have chronic pain in their testicles and i should find a pain management doctor. But I'm hoping to god this will cure whatever is causing my pain. So try it, maybe it is an infection and the right antibiotic will do the trick. If not I fear I may not make it through this since no doctor knows what it is and all doctors in america are so afraid to treat pain i have found zero help. My pain feels like someone has my testicle in a vice and is squeezing it to try and make it pop. My pain is right on the top of mu testicle and i can feel something poking down into my scrotum. I don't know if this is the cure but two days without this pain is a pure joy. Hope this helps anyone.

I had slight left testicle pain, some abdominal pain when aggravated and the lower back would sometimes burn until I changed positions. 3 surguries later I have NO left testicle (removed last operation) yet I have pain in my lower groin and my abdomen is swollen (not gastro) and I am unable to sit or bend over. I've had numerous nerve blocks with NO real relief. I have been living like this for 3 years, laying flat on my back 16+ hours a day. Lyrica took away the prickly, tingly burning searing sensations yet the PRESSURE I still feel on my left side. I have lost it all. I need help.

hi. I know this post is quite old, but I'm hoping this answer will help someone who is in the same position as I was/ am . I had exactly the same experience 12 years ago. testicular and epidididimal pain, months on all sorts of antibiotics. some days I could barely walk. some days I'd have sharp pains through my testicle. it made me very depressed and almost suicidal. doctors couldn't help and as soon as they reached the end of their diagnostic line, they fobbed me off to a chronic pain clinic. they put me on amytriptilin which I was on for 7 years before weaning myself off it. it helped a fair bit, but I was still getting the stabbing pain. I found that caffeine made it worse, so I went caffeine free for a while (3 years!) I found that after a few years, the pain went away mostly. I'd occasionally get some pain and swelling, but it's mostly fine. I have a daughter now too (something I want sure I'd be able to do after everything!)
The main message I want to share is, get checked, exhaust all avenues of possibility. if there's no infection, look at amytriptilin to help manage the pain. knock the caffeine on the head and as best you can, don't worry about it. The pain will go away slowly. it may come back occasionally, but slowly, it will go.
