Left testicle pains / epididymis pain

Hello, I just wanted to ask something because it's been bothering me for a very long time now, I'm 19 years old but I was 18 when it started happening, in 2015 November, I started going gym with my father, was fine for a good week or so then all of a sudden for about a week, I got a constant dull ache in my left testicle and about a week or two later, I went to the doctors and to be honest, I've never checked my testicles before ever, so I don't really know what's normal and what's not. But I went to a doctor and got checked out big with this first doctor it felt like he didn't really seem to check much, and the pain was still there and he put me on some type of medication which I haven't used for about a year, but the pain was still happening every time I'd sit down or when I'm in a sort of uncomfortable position, and just to say when I did feel my testicle I noticed a lump kind of thing on the bottom of my testicle so I'm not sure if that's the tail of the epididymis, but the tail does feel bigger than the right side, and my testicle is a little bit bigger also, it is quite noticeable and it worried me even more so I got checked by a different doctor and he said it was fine he doesn't see a problem with it and he diagnosed me with "testicle pain" 1 in a 1000 men, so that calmed me down a little but then weeks later the pain came back once again, and it kept worrying me, so I got checked one more time and he checked me out and said there's nothing wrong with it he said "I don't feel any lumps or swelling", but I felt like he didn't feel the tail of the epididymis, which is the part that worries me the most. I now till this day do get pains here and there, and it's still worries me everyday just in case it is cancer, if anyone could help me that would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Is there a specialist on this kind of thing, if so ask your doctor for a referral. Doctors sometimes don't dig deep enough. God speed

I haven't seen a specialist, just 3 different doctors have checked it and said the same thing, but I'll have to get it checked out again, and see what they say and if they say the same I'll see if I can get a refferal, appriecate the reply!

    Hi vult

Definitely ask to be referred to a consultant for a second opinion....docs don't always get it right..you are entitled to a second.opinion..where there is pain theres somthing up...it could well be a cyst as testicular cancer tumours do not usually cause pain..that's why men are advised to check their testicles regularly for lumps.....insist on a second opinion....best wishes....
