    Hello Guest,

I would take some Chamomile tea to first calm yourselve down at night. Then, stop taking pain killers as they put too much stress on te body and you will sleep worse over time. Rather go for natural alternative.

You may have a shoulder tear or rotorcuff problem.  It can also be a sign of another bad condition.  You should see a specialist first to determine what your problem is.  I hope you get better.  Im not a doctor but, I have had symptoms as you have with shoulder pain waking you out your sleep.  You should really see your doctor.  Shoulder pain can also be a sign of stroke.  Take it serious and see your physician because it has gone on for 3 months now.  Don't wait.  Go to the doctor, it could be serious.

You should go to see an orthopaedic doctor right away or atleast your primary physician to be referred over to a specialist.  You could possibly just have a sprain but, it could be something worse like a rotor cuff problem or labral tear, etc...but, it can also be a sign of other health issues.  Read up on shoulder pain and you will see that it could be a sign of an even worse health problem.  Not trying to scare you because you shouldnt wait long to see a doctor when your body gives signs of pain or uncomfortable feelings.
