First question, your regular Dr, or a cardiologist after a echocardiogram.

If you have not seen an cardio, you probably need to, although there is enlarged and ENLARGED.

Husbands ejection fraction has been the standard that they consider how serious his dialation is, was orginally 23%, back to 56% this week, which is in the normal range, but has his enlarged ventricle gone away, not from my understanding, the muscle has been weakened, so still have to watch him very carefully, the cardioogists have adjusted his tablets also this week by upping his strength of bisoporol, apparently works very well according to cardio specialist, as they are learning more and more about how the tablet works.

How long has my husband lived with this condition, 7 1/2 years now, sees cardiologists every six months at the heart hospital, for pacemaker and download, and originally cardiologists every six months for echo and follow up, has been extended to once a year the last few years as his condition has slowly improved.

My husband had enlarged left ventricle, same as you, his was serious enough to have him admitted to a heart hospital, there they started him on a bunch of tablets, some to slow his heart rate down, others drop his blood pressure, others keep the musles of his heart from forming scar tissue, others stop cholesterol, and others stop him from retaining fluid in his tissues, usually swollen ankles, but husband usually does not get swollen ankles, if he is having fluid issues, but does get sweaty forearms, really wet, even when sitting in bed doing nothing.
