The other items that can help with dry mouth. Frozen grapes or frozen peaches. Fresh mint. Freezer pops or fill lemonade into ice cube moulds and pop one out and put it your mouth. Sour candy. Cold vegetables. Chilled cucumber slices, chilled jicama,.Chilled celery or chilled carrots. Any hard candy. These are suggestions from my haemodialysis center. In the US, I am limited to 4 cups of water per day, so I get dry mouth every day. I hope this information helps you.

Every day I suck on ice chips, they are better than drinking cold water. At my haemodialysis center, ice chips are given to every client so we don't get dehydrated. I am restricted to 4 cups of water per day (US measurements ), so ice chips are easier to suck on, some ice moulds are to large to fit in my mouth, so I rely on ice chips.

I hope this helps if you don't want to use lemon products

    Amanda,

I'm 51 so I don't know if the hot flashes are premenopause or Sjogrens. I do get leg cramps. I have to flip over and change positions in bed because I get either cramps or an a ache in my legs.
