I'm doing my fourth physical therapy. This time water tread mill.
I'm now 11 months post op. I can now lift it into the car and bed.and can lift it over the leg.
I have damage to my muscle And nerve damage.
You will do much better than I did.
It was nice to have others who had the same problem. So I wouldn't feel so alone and suffering.best of luck to u

Any movement was difficult due to the weight caused by swelling. Was shown how to use dressing gown cord to move it. Think I was able to move it independently on day 8 as fluid had dispersed and of course the exercises help. On day 18 now and no pain killers for 3 days. Sleeping still disturbed as it is not natural for me to sleep on back. I catch up in day
