Leg numbness

I've had chronic pain in my back for 8 years after an accident and neuropathic pain in my legs, my left side had always been much weaker than the right, I have numbness in my legs, but my question is why is my left leg from my foot to my upper thigh numb and my right leg partially numb? I have slight feeling in my right leg only, why ? Can they be different like this? Thanks guys

    HI Vicky,

I too son egging simplistic however it as complete loss of feeling and use of my right hand side which began with my foot soon taking over entire leg, hand and feeling thru up my abdomen. It was in result to cervical spinal stenosis which is the compression to your actual spinal cord along the neck. When injured, they say the furthest extremities are first affected which signs like numbness, pins & needles, weakness, etc, are sure signs of such issues. It’s likely you've more pressure affecting your left side than ya do on your right.  If you’ve any more questions please reach out to me.
