    Hello teresa,

this does sound good,  you need to keep an eye on the swelling,  the colour of your leg - is it normal?   Should you see big change or the swelling increase a lot,  do not hesitate to get to hospital, even during the night.   Don't want to alarm you teresa,   I really think you need to get a medical opinion and don't wait until Monday if the swelling or pain get bad.

So many questions I could ask Teresa,  but still could not give definate answers,  just it could be this or that.  If this is just started you do need medical advice,  if you are able to walk on the leg and the swelling stays as it is you could maybe wait until Monday to seek medical help, But, if the swelling increases,  you are unable to walk on it or the pain makes walking too bad you must go to the hospital and find out what is causing it.   If the top of the leg is red and the lower part and or foot is very pale or has a blueish tinge - go to the hospital.

This could be nerve damage or something wrong with the blood supply,  or something else,   it can't be ignored though.

I hope it eases up for you,   would be best to get a proper diagnosis with something like this soon as you can, sooner if it worsenes.
