LEGAL ACTION?

We only have to look at the numerous people on this site who have had dreadful experiences with Simvastin.

Has anyone considered taking legal action agains the company that produced it? My veins on my legs now stand out so badly they look ugly and they were never like this before I took this dreadful drug. I was in agony with leg pain and had lumps appear under my breasts. I couldn't wear a bra and can only now wear a sports bra.

Has anyone else considered legal action?

If you feel that a symptom is due to a side effect of a medicine that you have taken then you may wish to report it to the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) via their yellow card scheme - link

I am seriously considering taking some sort of action. I am suspecting this is some sort of clinical trial and we are all guinea pigs. There are an awful lot of people here suffering agonies.

I haven't improved yet. Went to Doc. yesterday. He took a blood test to see if I'd had an allergic reaction to the drug. No help or suggestions to ease the pain though - other than stay of the pills! still in excruciating pain - hope to goodness this gets better, otherwise I'll be jumping off a building!!!

I'll be posing a message on here soon that is shocking in the extreme. I certainly would consider legal action and I'm very keen at least to get a database of these experiences to take matters further. People need to be aware of the risk they could be taking when starting this drug.
