Hi. I haven’t heard of legs giving out due to Diabetes unless you are having low sugars and are too weak to stand up!
My knees used to give out, my very worst 1 was carrying newborn twins down 13 stairs! Luckily I was able to sort of control the fall, I was the only 1 that got hurt, the twins were still asleep, thank God!
Anyhow, since I said that my knee(s) gave out I was sent for x-rays.
Apparently I had moderate arthritis but due to my age they wouldn't do a total knee replacement until I was older.
Maybe you may want to consider arthritic knees if your blood sugars are normal? You may also "just" need more exercises to improve your muscle strength?
I suggest a visit to the Dr is needed to rule things out and hopefully find some answers for you! Good luck to you and let us know how it's going. Susan
