I have been taking 50 mg sertraline for 10 days now and have been experiencing tingling and numbness in my feet and legs, also been nauseated everyday and feel no energy at all. Has anyone else had these symptoms ?

I'm on my 7th day and nausea has eased off a good bit. I had sore ankles but no numbness, and pain along top of back/ shoulders and now that's gone. Hopefully yours will go soon xx

Sorry u had same problem as well. It's good to know I'm not the only one. Did the feeling come and go with you or was it everyday ? Mine comes and goes. Did the Dr tell u it will go away ?

My Dr did say it would subside, he said joint and muscle pain/numbness is normal serotonin can be found in bones and sometimes your body will use it first as the meds adjust to your system.

Hello Michel I'm on day 5 of the meds and still feeling sick and jittery but not quite as bad, tiredness seems to affect me more but I've decided today to give into it when I feel tired and I have to say that has got rid of all the jitters and nausea at the moment and I do feel better.  Are you able to rest during the day, maybe that will help you too.  I hope you soon feel better.  It was suggested to me by someone on here not to suffer in silence and if Sertraline doesn't suit ask the doc for something else as he was more successful with a different ssri. I'm going to wait a couple of weeks to see if it all settles down.  Hope you soon feel better. I was told between 2 -4 weeks before feeling better.

Hello Linda . I was also told it takes 2-4 weeks before side effects go away and 6-8 weeks before medicine gets in your system and starts working but I am not gonna give up will give it some mor time. I am glad u are feeling better and let me know how it all works out for you in the upcoming weeks.

Hello Michelle, I did have wobbly legs every time I stood up when I started on the Sertraline but those symptoms have all gone now. I am two weeks in and still get a bit dizzy at times but this is also diminishing. You do have good days and bad days in the first 2-4 weeks with nausea etc but must admit had two ok days now so stick with it
