Lemon juice

hi. i have a small kidney stone and have been drinking diluted lemon juice for a few weeks now. today i could feel what could be peeling of gum skin behind upper back tooth. dont know if it's the tooth or the gum. I'm wondering if it's from drinking the lemon juice. cheers Kevin...

Well, I can't comment on the gum issue but I can say that lemon juice in any strength will do nothing to remove or "dissolve" your kidney stone - assuming its a Calcium oxalate stone.

thanks Jane. that issue with my gum/tooth seems to have disappeared. I've seen some YouTube vids which sing the praises of diluted lemon juice for kidney stones. maybe it might help my stone as it's only 4 mm in size .. cheers Kevin...

Possibly from the lemon. Ive had my share of kidney stones and just had to have one busted up with lithotripsy as it was causing infections.

My urologist said the same, drink lemon water daily. For some it works. For me it didnt.

Also theres an herb called chanca piedra (look up stone buster) that works for some people.

Best wishes! Kidney stones are a hell no one should endure!

thanks maranda. must try the herb suggestion. there's no movement from the stone yet although i had this tapping feeling in kidney area at xmas for a few days. it's stopped now... I'm having a testes/soft tissue ultrasound on Thursday so maybe they might be able to see the stone then.. cheers Kevin...
