Lesion on my penis with photo

Posted , 5 users are following.

I have been having this lesion which gradually heals and then new ones comes out.  In the beginning it is reddish and pin point and becomes like the ones in photo.  the smaller one on the right is a newer one.  It is not painfull so much till this pint but when the yellow skin bursts, then the mucosa is expose some mild irritation happens.  Please let me know if it is infectious?  I have labelled the pictures from 1 to 4.  1 being 1 week and receding (oldest) and 4 being coming up and newest (2 days).

I don't know what those are or if they're infectious, but they're certainly unusual, and you need to see a doctor.

You could either see your GP, or if you're in the UK, you could go to a genitourinary medicine (GUM) clinic - google "GUM clinic near me" for details.

If you could update this thread and tell us what the doctors say, it would be appreciated.  Good luck.

(sorry for the late reply, but I've only just seen your update)

I'm not sure if those are the same thing as in the earlier pics, but I still think you should see a doctor.  Take the pics along with you if they're not already on your phone.

Confirms the likelihood of you having Lichen Planus as it seems the marks on your leg(s) have developed into flatter, smoother ones. I had mine mainly on the arms, but my dentist referred me to my local Maxillo-Facial Consultant because he suspected cancer on the inside of my cheeks. After biopsy, Lichen Planus was confirmed (what I suspected, but a relief nonetheless! I never showed my penis to anyone, but took a photo to my Uroligist, and he agreed with my diagnosis, but took note in case more investigation became necessary. It's all gone now - till the next time maybe in a year or two! = it is a condition that comes and goes over months at a time.
