Lesions and pain on penis

Hello,

I was diagnosed with genital herpes 2 years ago. Symptoms were very obvious, so my doctor did not request any tests. My initial outbreak was extremely painful and it lasted for almost 1 month, although I used Valtrex. For the next 2 years, I had an outbreak every 1-2 months, but I did not use Valtrex, because it gives me palpitations.

2 months ago (November 2020), I decided that I cannot go on with such frequent outbreaks, and I started taking daily 500 mg Valtrex. Palpitations went away after around 10 days. Simultaneously, I started using tea tree oil soap and propolis cream but I stopped using them after a few weeks.

Since November, i.e. for almost 60 days, I have an enduring pain in my genital area, similar to the pain accompanying genital herpes. It did not go away even for 1 day. Also, there are some slightly pinkish lesions on my penis (please see pictures) for nearly 60 days. I had a HSV 1-2 swap test on these pink regions, but the result was negative (of course it might be false negative).

I think that this is not herpes, because I never experienced 2 months of continuous pain. I thought maybe I had an allergic reaction against Valtrex, so I stopped taking it one week ago, but there is no change.

Also I noticed some goose bumps on the shaft of my penis (also seen on pictures), but I do not know whether they were already there before.

I would be very happy if you could comment on what those lesions might be and how could treat them.

Thank you very much!!

Thank you. I will definitely see an urologist but the earliest appointment I can get is mid February. I am very concerned and stressed about this situation. I would like to know whether it might be something of concern, requiring urgent attention.

For 2 years, I had outbreaks every 1-2 months. Now I use Valtrex and there is enduring pain for 2 months with those pink legions, which do not go away even 1 week after stopping Valtrex.

I am very stressed and would be very grateful for any comments.

Keep calling where you made your appt and let them know you will take a cancellation. I git my wait time down doing that as well. Mention to them how important it is you see someone asap, they should work with you. Best of luck!

I am already trying to get a sooner appointment. The reason I posted was that I was hoping to receive some comments on what might my condition be. Thank you anyway.

Is there no one who can comment on what my condition might be? I really need your help.

It has been more than 60 days and the skin is red-pink and there are very small blisters, but not herpes blisters. There is enduring pain for 60 days.

I would really appreciate any comment.
