Levothyroxine and anxiety

Hi!

In 2012, I was diagnosed with pituitary adenoma and had two surgeries for it. As a result I'm suffering from hypopituitarism and I take hormone replacement therapy for it. For seven years, I took 125 mcg Euthyrox for thyroid hormone replacement. I also take 15 mg hydrocortisone and 40 mg Nexium daily. A year ago, I moved to another country and I was given same dosage of Eltroxin. Lately I started feeling anxious with a lot of digestive problems, especially excessive gas. I hear a lot gurgling sounds from my stomach all day. I always had digestive problems due to cortisone, but not like this.

Last week GP ordered some blood tests and my Free T4 came as just under max level (since my pituitary does not function anymore, my TSH is always very low). Though, the blood test was done at 11 AM which is not ideal I guess. He suggested to lower my dosage to 100 mcg which freaks me out. I have been taking levothyroxine for such a long time. Do you think it is a good idea to lower my dose?

Thanks.
