Anyone take this med? How does it work for you and best time to take it?

    From what I understand Lexapro is Escitalopram, the purer version of Citalopram which I take.  I've been on Cit for 6 months and it works wonders for me.  You might have a few rough weeks starting it although I understand Lexapro isn't as harsh at first.  I take mine at 8pm every evening and seems to work good for me like that although everyone is different.  Honestly I put off taking it for months and I wish I hadn't as I wasted the best part of 2014 feeling sh*t with anxiety and depression.  Good luck, take it day by day adn remember it can take up to 8 weeks to have the full effect so don't lose hope.

    I have and I loved it. I took them at night before bed but anytime is good for this. I believe it takes 6 weeks to fully see a change smile

    I have took it and I felt so light headed, like I smoked a lot of weed. It was horrible for me just horrible!!  I didn't feel like I was me.

    Hi Tonya,yes I've been on Escitalopram 10mg for 4 weeks now. I take it just before bed,and am just starting to see the benefits. Hope it works for you x

      Thank you Justine.. I hope it does to.. One of my meds is causing me to be dizzy/unbalanced.. I take metoprolol er 50 mg for blood pressure and my lexapro 10 mg.
