Lexapro and morning anxiety

Hi does anyone find their anxiety is significantly higher in the mornings? Have been on Lexapro for 2 weeks now (1 week @5mg then 1 week @10mg.)
I find the morning anxiety awful upon waking, with racing thoughts and every problem even small ones seem overwhelming to the point of feeling nauseous. Will this subside? Dr has given me Diazepam which I find I'm taking every morning. Im new to Lexapro after previously being on Prozac and Mirtazapine (which I hated and asked Dr to change) although I still take 7.5mg at.night for sleep. Just want to feel normal again and wake up looking forward to the day and feeling positive about things rather than the dread I have now

I went to a psychaitrist and she put me on mirtizpine. May have spelt wrong. On 7.5 mg for last week ad well as lexapro 10mg. (Been on lexapro for four weeks now.) Only major side effect of lexapro that im experiencing now is really bad itchyness. Otherthanthat this combination has been amazing. No more anxiety. It has stopped everything causing panic attacks and the like along with excellent nights sleep. Only side effect is that it may cause weight gain. But I eat healthy anyway and I've been watching my weight and nothing major as yet. Mind you I'll keep am eye on it. But it has been great in finally breaking the cycle. 😊

I found my morning panic attacks finished after day 10 but then it was around day 15 that I went to psychiatrist and was put on mirtzipine. After about 3 days on that things were so much better and I was finally getting a full nights sleep without waking up in cold sweats. So with both of them things seem to be going well. Touch wood! That's what worked for me anyway. From what my Pysch said she said it could take 4-6 weeks before it works effectively.

I'm getting confused who I am answering. I explained to Alex. See if you can see the message. And yes I became a recluse while not on it. You will be fine. Give yourself a chance. Perhaps, you will need more than 10mg if your doctors sees your anxiety level is very high. But give the 10mg at least 6 weeks. It helps me a lot.
