Lexapro decrease in dose

Hi,

I have been on some form of SSRI for 14 years. Most recently on Lexapro 10mg for 4.5 weeks which didn’t help me at all with anxiety. My Dr has me decrease dose to 5mg 6 days ago and I felt ok up until today. Today I feel extra shaky, dizzy, headache, severe nausea in morning and a weird vibration feeling in center of chest.

Is this typical withdrawal symptoms from the decreased dosage?

Just wondering how long this lasts. Thanks

Hope it doesn't last long.. I just bumped down from 10 mg. to 7.5mg. I did that on Sat. am.. So that's been 3 days ago .. I've been waiting for something to hit .. Just do not know what side effects I'll have... It should not last long .. I would say a couple of days...just hang in there and know it's just the Lexapro withdrawal symptoms...
