Lexapro... having intrusive thoughts

Not sure if it's normal.. but I'm on day 5 of taking Lexapro... and I'm getting intrusive thoughts... and some that feel they won't go away. Will this change?

Can you contact your psych? He/She probably knows you and might calm you down on this better.
Is it very disturbing? I also have sth like this, i know it's scary, i just try not to pay attention and treat it as a harmless side effect. Try some soothing techniques, think about things, people, places or animals you love, so you don't trigger more anxiety. It helps me a lot.
