Ok ive been on librium since Wednesday do to the fact that I was going through alcohol withdrawal. I took 2 Wednesday night, one at six pm and the other one at 11. Then took one at 3 in the morning and one at seven in the morning Thursday, and then started taking.one. every.six hours. Today which is Friday I've only taken one. The shakes.are gone and I've been.eating good. I dont wanna.take another unless I need it. Im taking.10mg librium. Is that a good.thing to.do?

    Hi. Check out the medication on this site it looks as though it's benzodiazepine for short term use and is also called lithium.

    I packed up alcohol about the same time as you but also was mixing it with benzo's

    Which I'm also trying to stop.

    So far so good.

      librium is Chlordizapoxide check my other posts. Don't go cold turkey on it you'll have to convert to the equivalent of diazepam and taper off I am trying to post a link to help but if you google Battle against tranquilisers Bristol you should find it

    No! How long have you been on it now? If only a few days my advice would be leave well alone! I have seen the devastation of accidental addicts first hand. It's far worse than coming off alcohol gradually. I promise
