Lichen Planus of Lips

I've had oral lichen planus for years, but recently have had an outbreak on my lips. I've tried AQUAPHOR, ALOE VERA GEL and TRIAMCINOLONE OINTMENT. Nothing is helping and I'm in so much pain. Please help!

    I use dexamethazone swish(steroid) and flucinonide gel plus nystatin for fungal/yeast. You may be missing the fungal part. Look up chellitis. And let me know.

      I also use DEXAMETHASONE & NYSTATIN for the inside of my mouth and that works. This is on the outside of my mouth on my lips and those meds haven't helped with it on my lips. Thanks for responding

    HI Debra59222 I also get Lichen planus on my lips and the best thing that has helped me is CBD oil. I use it topically 3-4 times a day. I recently had a rosacea flare up and used it on my face and with in 3 days skin was back to normal. I also get very painful herpes blisters on my mouth (lips) and it really helps with the pain and also shortens the duration. I have a medical card and get it from a dispensary not sure if I would trust ordering on line due to no regulations. Good luck hope this helps!

      Thank you so much Julia for the information! Unfortunately, I don't live in a state where medical marijuana is legal. I will have to do some research to see if I can find a trustworthy site to order CBD Oil from. I do have a relative that lives in Colorado so I might be able to get her to help me get it.

      This is so painful and I'm desperate! Thank you so much!!!
