Lichen Sclerosis and psoriasis co-morbidity?

Another member here and I are wondering how many of us have both. Since the last major study of LS was done in 1960, our own anecdotal poll is all we have.

I've had both all my life, but the LS was only diagnosed at age 61. I always thought those symptoms were an aspect of psoriasis.

I was always warned my my dermatologists not to use the prescribed corticosteroid creams and ointments on my eyelids or on my genital area. So here I am, many years after stopping the steroids for fear of adrenal fatigue etc. and now I'm glad to be using clobetasol to prevent further atrophy.

My understanding is derms always say eczema until they hear it's in the family. Then it's psoriasis.

I'm responding to this because I was recently diagnosed with lichen sclerosis and I also have moderate to severe psoriasis. I've come to find that there are so many comorbidities with psoriasis. It's unbelievable!  I am 53 years old by the way.
