Oops... sorry this is my first post—I didn’t complete my sentence.  Urologist did a bladder study and found nothing. Yet my UTIs continue. Obgyn doesn’t seem concerned... I am terrified. I also use Clobetasol but worried it may tear my tissue. I feel I am at a dead end 😥

    Hi Sandra,

I took Osphena for over a year, thought it helped marginally but not enough to be worth the price. I had to pay 50 a month after my insurance so I stopped it. Never had any side effects except maybe some hot flashes. Im in the process of doing Mona Lisa. Ive had 2 treatments and it has helped some also but Im not so sure it has been as a good a result as i would expect but i have one more to do. Ive read it takes more than 3 for LS but my OBGYN says we will play it by ear.

Thanks, Charlotte. I was told it was expensive and even though at this point I would pay anything to get over this, sounds like it’s not worth it as I also read other’s remarks. Good luck w/ the Mona Lisa and please keep posting on your progress. My area affected by LS is more anal/perineal  area so I dont think that would help me.

Sandra, I will let you know how Mona Lisa is going. Im lucky my insurance is covering that procedure with just a small co pay. I forgot to mention I went through a period of getting several UTis also and Ive never been one to get them easily throughout my life. But I also use baking soda water rinse after bathroom as much as I can. Seems to help. Havnt had any for awhile now.

Charlotte, how do you make the baking soda rinse, as far as ratio? I am going to give that a trysmile

I use a small bottle with a few pinches is all. Like a 1/4 teaspoon. Most people use a spray nottle but mine is a squeeze type. It work pretty good

I too had numerous UTI's but all fine with the bladder.  It was clearly LS related.  When I started with baking soda and borax baths and rinses, sometimes apple cider vinegar rinses,  the UTI's went.  Also regular dilation had something to do with it.  A combination of things thus, made all the difference.  I can keep UTI's at bay.
