Lichen sclerosis ... give up bleached scented soften toilet tissue.

Posted , 6 users are following.

Do you know how many chemicals they use to soften and scent toilet tissue. Also, what they do to bleach it?! All women should not want to use this on their most delicate area of our bodies our vaginas. The skin there should not be exposed to these chemicals especially if you have vaginal lichen sclerosis. But unbleeched unscented toilet tissue . It helps .

I have a bidet. If you can afford it they are great!

I have a plastic spitz bath! Would prefer a bidet but it's a pretty good alternative.

Due to both shoulders being frozen and taking ages to 'unthaw', I bought an electric top of toilet bidet for approx. AU$250.  Best investment yet.  Then, when I travel or away from home, I buy and use hypoallergenic toilet paper; it doesn't have the little fibre bits which irritate.

Hi there, I agree, I have Multiple Chemical Sensitivity and so I am very aware of this kind of toxic product and of course, I avoid them.  I use toilet paper that is made from bamboo and of course, it is unscented.

I stopped buying regular toothpaste, its pretty toxic.

I never use deodorant, again very toxic, I use a crystal stick instead.

Body creams are very bad as well, especially for people like us.

Perfume isnt good either, its full of chemicals..

The crap that goes into make up is toxic, like mascara.
