Lichen Sclerosis Post Surgical Care

Posted , 1 user is following.

I recently had surgery to remove an infected cyst that was between my clitoral hood and clitoris. My surgeon told me that I had the cyst because I have full fusion of the hood to my clitoris and it was one of the worst cases of lichen sclerosis that she has ever seen. I do not currently have a provider who is willing to provide me care for my lichen sclerosis and I am struggling to heal the two large incisions from the surgery without a large amount of scar tissue. I have some starting to form and it is painful. I am thinking about putting some clobatesol on the healing wound. Has anyone done this? Thank you for the advice, I am really struggling to find a provider who is familiar with LS and can help.
