Lichen Sclerosus - New Diagnosis

Posted , 4 users are following.

Okay so after 2 years I have seen two of the most regarded genital dermatologists in the UK who have confirmed that I have genital Lichen Sclerosus. I am male, mid 30s.

I have very mild symptoms. Not like the internet so struggling to fully accept it. They will not do a biopsy as have it in writing that it is 100% this disorder.

I must add i have seen various urologists and GUM doctors all of whom said they don't see any lichen sclerosus.

Should i accept the experts diagnosis?

I have tried steroid cream with little joy. They have suggest circumsisum. But really not sure.

I also have been told i have an psoriasis.

I would love any input on this. Direct messages welcome. Thanks.
