HI ALL,

i was diagnosed back in March with no symptoms except a white patch and just was using clob ans coconut oil. unfortunately ive had a rapid deteration of my labia minora an clitoris. Most of both structures are gone despite cutting out sugar. its like they are both melting away. i still have my clitoral hood and im trying to preserve whatever i have left as i am only 24 years old and i am terrified my clitoris will disappear and i wont be able to enjoy sex anymore. i have a consultation with a specialist for lichen sclerosus. His name is Dr. Newman and he is based in LA. He does stem cell treatment obtained from your fat and hes done it for 11 years on over 200 patients with 65% going into remission. i am desperate to preserve my vulva and sex life but it is not covered by insurance and so i wanted to ask if anyone has had stem cell treatment and how did it work for you? did it just stop the progression or did you get some of your structures back? i am hoping my vulva will go back to looking normal and i will preserve my clit. i still have minimal itching and no pain durimg sex, just more sensetive after. Any responses help.

Alyshia, that sounds promising the stem cell treatment. At this point with my LS I would try almost anything at almost any cost. I have rapidly deteriorated also despite taking advantage of all the wonderful recommendations on this site. it's not a pretty picture down under. I am going to do some research on the stem cell treatment. I've been trying cannabis and coconut oil and haven't seen a big improvement yet.

Keep us apprised and I'm sorry you haVe this unusual disease.
