Hi i have had vaginal itching and had a biopsy which showed that i have lichenoid changes to the vulva im a 62 year old post menopause female. i have been prescribed dermovate for flare ups and also to use it twice weekly.

i have had constant flare ups in the past two weeks and the clobestal ointment seems to irritate it more and more.

i have noticed that a lot of you are usin borax sitz baths is this something thati should consider?

i have no whitening of the vulva skin or fusing and am hoping that i can maintain this for as long as i can.

My dr has been of very little help

Thankyou

I do hear ladies who say sitz baths with baking soda or borax helps. I, myself, have not tried because I cannot do it where I live but, absolutely try it. Or, put it in the bath water. No, drs. seem to think this is in our heads but that's not the location of the pain or itch.... Coconut oil with baking soda mixed or Frankincense oil have helped me. Best of luck.
