I had my triple arthrodesis 7 months ago. And totally gutted 😥still can’t stand for long due to aching can’t sit due to spine hurting.i now walk with crutches and so gutted.i thought this operation was the answer to my prayers.
Twelve yrs ago I had 2 calcu osteotomys on my feet. Which worked amazing. Then my feet started to turn in again as I had flat feet.i seen surgeon who said both feet was deformed 😥I decided on triple arthrodesis for both feet. Had left done first. Still on crutches and was told it worked 😥.i haven’t seen my original surgeon since operation day. Now I’m told I can’t have left one done just insoles and injections all about funding. I walk with a limp my foot is shorter than the other and I used to love to dance and now I feel totally gutted 😩. Has anyone had same or similar experience

I had a double fusion & calcu osteotomy seven months ago & still i severe pain & living on crutches which now i have carpal tunnel i also am very flat footed & have deformed feet. Both feet are in severe pain every day. My ankles feel like they've shifted out of alignment which has affected my knees, hips & back. I'm not sure more surgery is the answer. I'm going to Gig Harbour Washington in August & I'm getting the Exosym devices for both feet. This will give me back my mobility. People that are worse off than we are are now out running marathons with these devices. They are expensive, $9000 US per brace but if it will allow me to walk again & live my life, I'm going for it. I believe surgery will only create more pain & run the risk of nerve damage which my friend has & lives in excruciating pain every day & nothing can be done for her. Check out these braces. i'm serious. They may be the answer to your problem. I met with a girl the other day who has one & it has been life changing for her. She can't walk at all without it. She's out running & dancing & doing the things I can only dream about. I hope things work out for you. It's really depressing not being able to walk & living in pain every day. This place is called The Hanger Clinic.
