Life after a radical hyserectomy.

I had a radical Laparoscopic vaginal assisted hysterectomy 6 weeks post opp. I am 54years 5years post menopausal. After suffering a prolapse womb and bladder for 10months I was glad to have the hysterectomy so I could get back to normal. Since having the hysterectomy 6weeks ago. My waist is like a tire. which is something I never had. I am a very active person who loves the outdoors. I have read that it is caused by some swelling and the Carbon Dioxide Gas used to do the operation. Can anyone help on how I can remove this Gas as it is unbearable and so uncomfortable. I just want to feel normal again. Kindest regards. Mandy.

Peppermint tea is wonderful for this has issue hun. Also keep moving every hour or so also.

If refrain from gas producing foods and take a high strength gut probiotic from a very good quality health store not the well-known on the Highstreet lol.

I had this after mine and it tooks up to 8 weeks to go.x
