Life after ankle fusion

Hi everyone, I'm 10 weeks post op after ankle fusion. The Dr split the heel bone and realigned it, move a few tendons to try to correct some deformity, lengthened my Achilles tendon. I've just got into a boot but non weight bearing at the moment. I knew it was going to be a big surgery, seven incisions and a pin later. My foot feels really strange, almost like it's really heavy and the dry skin is lovely. I'll be glad to get back to life. If you are familiar with fusion or had it yourself, I can use all the advice I can get.
