Lifting and skin growing up on nails - please help

Hi all,

Probably my own fault for wearing gel varnish for years but just looking for some advice on the best way to treat my awful nails...

I have had the gel varnish (bluesky brand) off now for about a week after continuous wear for the last 3 years (home applied)

My nails are lifting and the skin underneath seems to be growing up with the nail. Is this something I can try to treat myself or will I need to see a dermatologist?

Doctors couldn't really offer me much but did a fungal test that came back negative.

Any advice would be welcomed...

    please, tell me, are your nails better now after a while? they got back to normal?

    i am having same problem, and i amimage panicking, as its getting worst, and my doctor dont know what it could be.
