yes anxiety can definitely make you feel very lightheaded. I have had that many many times in the past. Sometimes when we’re anxious our heart can skip beats which is not dangerous when due to anxiety. I have also had that many times and I still get skipped beats but my heart is very healthy.

The key to feeling better with anxiety is to relax your mind as much as you can. Listen to some great meditations on YouTube for anxiety to calm yourself down. Try not to overthink things. Think if there’s anything in your life that is causing you anxiety or stress. Maybe talk to a counselor about how to manage that so you feel better. Take care

    I can definitely relate, Annie31369,

This has happened to me quite a few times, and the first 2 times i seeked medical assistance.

Anxiety can indeed cause that feeling! And of course it only gets worse because of the feeling!

Have you also had your iron levels checked? Sometimes low iron can make you have that feeling. Mine is low and when i treat my iron the episodes usually stop or slow down.

Do you have any other concerns that go along with it, like a fast heartrate? When that happens to me I get hot and my heart rate increases. The drs say nothing is wrong. After researching online, I see that hormonal shifts and imbalance can also be a culprit...especially if you are peri menopausal.

During those feelings I lay in bed with the windows open and focus on my breathing and thoughts.

    Take care.
