Light housework causing pain 3.5weeks post banding

Hi all

I had 3 grade 2 internal piles banded 3.5 weeks ago. I didn't think I had piles as my anal throbbing pain was bloodless. Anyway, Sigmoidoscopy showed 3 so they were banded. I'm in the UK.

2 bands didn't hurt when they were attached but the 3rd was very painful and the pain shot to my 'appendage' where it lasted about an hour. This final band was quite low down near the entrance.

Awful anal pain for the first week then on and off for another week. Tiny amount of blood. The 3rd week I felt pretty much back to normal so I decided to do some hoovering as a precursor to test myself as I want to get back on lifting some light weights.

The throbbing/ burning pain is now back. This followed a twisty pulling anal sensation. Leaning forward to shave even aggravates. Stools are soft and regular thanks to Senosoft and I take a bath straight after.

Has anyone else noticed even light exercise can cause this sort of regression? It's doing my head in as I can't exercise as I'm used to doing and can't even hoover up. It feels like the tunnel is getting longer and there's Covid to worry about too.

I had a telecon with the consultant 2 days ago and he seemed happy with my progress as the pain did subside dramatically before hoovering and suggested some sort of nerve blocker.

Sorry for the long first post. I think someone said on another thread potentially 3 months to heal up. That seems a long time.
