Lightheaded 24/7. Took Xanax for 2 days and feel worse

Hello everyone,
Thank you in advance for taking the time to respond. I really appreicate it. For about two months now, I've been feeling lightheaded every day. Some days are better than others, but for the most part, I feel lightheaded. I believe that this started after I had a panic attack by in July (2016). I've had multiple EKGs, MRI/MRA of the brain, CT Scan of the Brain, bloodwork. Everything came back normal.
I've gone to the ER 3 times since all of this started. Sometimes I think I'm having a brain aneurysm that is going to explode. Sometimes I might think I'm having a heart attack or cardiac arrest (It has flipped from brain problems to hear problems).
This past weekend I ended up in the ER after running a couple miles. I thought I was having cardiac arrest. The tests (EKG, blood) came back normal. The doctor prescribed me Xanax and advised me to see my primary care physician to perhaps go on medicaion for anxiety. I took the meds and they did calm me down a lot. I only took half of one today and by dinner time (by the time it wore off) I started feeling terrible again. I feel more dizzy right now than before.
Do any of you deal with constant lightheadedness? how is it possible to feel like this 24/7? could it be heart valve issues?

Hello,
I can relate to you massively on this.
A lot of my anxiety consists of light headedness but I tend to find it so much worse if I'm worrying about it so I tend to try and distract myself. For example read a book or listen ro some music.
It's just the anxiety, it's not good at all.
Hope youre ok x

I've had this for a few days. It's anxiety. Not sure why. I've had my heart looked at so many times and it's fine. It'll go just keep busy!

Thank you so much for the reply. It got a lot better for about a week, until I got a panic attack. I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully with therapy and time I'll be back to normal.
