Lightheadedness / Dizzy advise please

Hi Team,

So I have had this constant feeling of light headedness for 2 years now or so.

The dizzyness seems to worsen with exercise to the point I cant exercise anymore. This happens after about 20-30mins of moderate exercise. I will be head in hands and sometimes I cant even drive home. It is pretty much happens every time now and I will vomit occasionally.

I have done the following tests:

- 24 Hour Heart Rate Monitor X2

- Stress Test

- CT Scan of Head

- MRI Scan of Head

All of which came back normal.

I did feel dizzy during the movie Dunkirk. The camera angles were too full on for me and I had to leave early and I struggled to drive home from the cinemas. Once or twice I have gotten out of bed and started falling into the wall. Mind you this was not common.

In summary, I am confused, not sure how to solve this darn issue so I can enjoy life again and exercise with this constant off-ness.

Thanks in advance Team.

Have you had your Vit. D levels checked out? I had a similar situation, except mine was only for 6+ months - did MRI, met with a neurologist, and ultimately, I was diagnosed with anxiety (though, I believe that the anxiety was caused by the constant dizziness).

My GP was totally confused, and while she did diagnose me with vertigo, she also tested my Vit D levels and they were really low, and I suspect they've been low for a very long time. I was put on a prescription Vit D2 at 50,000iu 2x a week for 4 weeks, and then transitioned to Vit D3 5000iu every day.

I can confidently say that it fixed SO, SO much. Try that out if you haven't yet. Good luck.

Thanks for the vitamin D suggestion.  I have had terrible vertigo since last September.  I’ve seen so many specialists and had so many tests but still no answers.  I’m going to have my vitamin D checked.
