When was the last time you were sexually active? Did your partner use a condom?

I haven't been sexually active for four years (and four years ago it was once and condom was used). So I have no idea how I could have gotten any type of STI (haven't even kissed someone in 4 years either)...

It may be a viral problem but as you say your vagina is sore as well thats puzzling. You could use a soothing moisturising cream on the areas...something like Cerave is good but if it doesnt clear up you need to see your doctor.Viral problems sometimes just disappear as mysteriously as they appeared but it can take several weeks.
Have you worn new underwear recently? or used anything on your skin thats new?

Hi Anon,
MarinaDee is asking the right questions. It looks like either a yeast, herpes (doubtful) or even a dermatitis episode brought on by by an allergy. Cut out all sugar. Have you tried natural oils? Coconut, olive and also borage oil may help.
