Lip pain with inflammation inside the lips

I have had Sjogren's Syndrome for 50 years (undiagnosed for the first 15). Hence my eyes and mouth are very dry. The past couple of years have been very difficult for other reasons and as a result the dryness has also worsened. Now I am experiencing really sore lips that hurt more with eating and talking, I expect because the lips rub on dry teeth and this causes inflammation. I treat the external dryness with Aquaphor which has been wonderful for the past 8 years but I do not know what to do to reduce the pain on the inside of the lips. I would be grateful to hear from anyone who has any suggestions or can just sympathise because of having the same problem.
