My son has been on Lisinopril since he was 1 but has only just started to get severe mouth ulcers - one after another. I have looked it up on the internet and some forms of drugs for the heart can cause this.

I also take lisinopril and although I get occasional sore spots in my mouth which go away quickly, I wake up some mornings with pinkish saliva stains on my pillow whcih may be somrthing to do with this drug?

I started off on 10mg daily but doctor increased dose to 20mg. As soon as I started the increased dose I became very tired during the day and eyes very heavy. About 2 weeks into the increaded dose, I also had mouth ulcers and bleeding in the mouth. Blood pressure is down to normal levels now, so I may put up with these side effects.
