Literally lost my mind

Back in January something happened to me. My daughter said I was acting a little strange so she called my mother. I remember bits and pieces up at night like but the next day my mom took me to the hospital. In the emergency room I remember bits and pieces but then 2 days later I come to my senses and I've been checked into the hospital and I have no idea where I'm there. I have no memories of those two days and I didn't know who I was or any of my family. They did a number of tests but can't find out the reason why and I'm scared to death it'll happen again. I was just hoping they were out there went through the same thing I did. I just turned 40 this year and I have other medical problems but I had a brick wall and I'm scared

    Hello, I can imagine how worried you are & were. 

    You say you have other medical problems, does that mean you take prescribed drugs?  My immediate thought, was that you had some sort of a seizure.  And if your doctors can find nothing wrong with you, then I would look at any drugs that you are on.

    You say you have no memory of the actual missing 2 days but do you remember everything else, including names etc.?

    Try not to worry.
