i have a question about liver function tests when i was pregnant (i had my baby may 23) i had multiple liver function tests done because i kept having pain in my upper right quadrant i also had choleostasis of the liver during pregnancy in my 3rd pregnancy over 3 years ago. my question is is i was just looking and comparing my liver tests and notice the test i had done in april my ast was 12 which is low then in may was 21 which is within normal and my alt in april was 10 which is still within normal but in may was 31. should i be concerned they jumped so high in only 1 month? i was never talked to about it from my dr so i dont know if i should be or not.

ive always read that for women the alt ast should be under 20 to be optimal. just repeat it in 6 months.
