    Hello pam,

So what does this mean? Is it a fatty liver, were you told the reason you cannot have a thr?

I have never come across this one, they should tell you why this won't allow you to have new hips - probably due to bone problems?

I have to undergo extra blood tests as my liver isn't producing enough Factor 7 clotting from vitamin K.

That is a high GGT level. Why were you tested? Have they diagnosed any liver disease? It is possible to have hip replacement with a high GGT but you will probably find that most surgeons will not be too keen, as it can exacerbate the liver problem.
