Liver or gallbladder issues ?

hi all,

5 years ago my health was ruined when my bowel perforated during GYNAE surgery, long story. ive never really recovered, I have 3 stoma bags. since the op i have also developed gallstones. its been confirmed by MRCP in 2017, , the pain was intermittant but sudden,y went away and my ALT/ALP returned to normal. They suggested an ERCP but to be honest im too scared of hospitals now after the perforation.

This year however ive had episodes of pain again and another MRCP indicated innumerable small calculi in otherwise normal gallbladder. but alos 3 sub cm calculi in cmmon bile duct. the CBD MILDLY DILATED at 8mm, no inflammatory features. IT also said the pancreatic duct was mildly dilated at 5mm.

The pain has now gone again and ALT/ALP MUCH IMPROVED? all other LFT are nirmal.

im worried sick now its actually PBC AND not gallstones.

Ive become extremely anxious after rhey perforated my bowel, my health is never great.

anyone got any views please ?

    i dont know but there is a good PBC group on healthunlocked or healthunblocked.
