Liver problems or what else?

I have a lot going on without any diagnosis but here is what's happening now...pain in upper right quadrant, sometimes a stabbing pain and sometimes a dull ache and pale yellow stools, no diarrhea. I'm wondering if it's my liver??? These are new symptoms that have developed over the last 2 weeks. Since August, I've had pain in the center of my chest and it feels like I have the wind knocked out of me on most days. I also have intermittent nausea and fatigue. When my symptoms first started, I had green stools and now they are yellow. I can't eat fatty or spicy foods. I've been having problems since August. I'm seeing a GI specialist on Tuesday...what tests should I have done to check for liver function/disease? So far I've had these tests done with normal results:

EUS scope

Endoscopy

HIDA scan 35%

Abdominal ultrasound

All these test were done prior to my new symptoms.

I don't drink or smoke

I'm 5ft 10, 40 year old female that weighs 150 pounds.

I haven't been myself for the past 6 months...any suggestions will be most helpful!

    Many many conditions or diseases could cause those symptoms. Please post LFT, and any imaging study results here so we can have a look and could give you some insight.

      Thank you for responding...I don't have exact results, I just know doctors said they were all normal. I had scope to view my pancreas and it was normal. I had Bloodwork down and my lipase level has been chronically elevated since August...normal is below 60 and mine has ranged from 77-110....all I know is my liver and kidney test were normal too but I don't have the exact numbers...sorry.

      Endoscopy normal, no signs of gastritis, ulcer or GERD

      and HIDA scan for gallbladder at 35% within normal range.

      Abdominal ultrasound normal, no gallstones found

      I keep having pain in my right side and in the center...the right side pain is new and ever since I've had that my stools have changed to a very pale yellow. I do have fatigue even after getting adequate sleep. I'm paler than usual and have the chills (no fever). Lots of bloating, gas, swollen abdomen (no ascites) and heartburn.

      Gallbladder? Pancreas? Liver? I just don't know what's happening. I feel sick and unwell and don't know what's happening... sad

      Lipase, now your physician needs to do a differential diagnosis to rule out pancreatic inflammation, and some gall bladder disorders. This pain could also suggests some rare stomach growth.

      Some more testing Eg MRI and other imaging studies are suggested.

      Good luck are you lightheaded or fatigued?

    Have you been checked for IBS, coeliac, Crohns, gluten allergy etc.
