I'm no expert, except when it comes to the alcohol bit and the usual indicator GGT looks fine.

thank you buddy, i dont know why the alt is high its only 5 points over so i gather that is nothing to be worried about they told me that is booze and medications as well

My ALT is 66 and I did point this to my GP,he didn't react alarming, also when I had copy of my blood tests there wasn't any comment on the liver tests function ,,action needs taken'' I guess if there was anything alarming there will be a notes from the Lab and doctors will tell me.however I know that this is abnormal and is good to gone down to the limit 45.

Already took action to eat healthy and reduce the drinking at least 20% and will recheck in two months time.

I don't know where in the world are you but in UK seems that if your ALT measures is 50 I guess the doctors seems to think is fine.

Try to consume organic Beetroot juice with Carot juice in the morning before coffee and maybe some milk thistle and not drink too much and it probably will go down.

thanks peter i have cut my drinking in a 1/4 iwas worried as the dr thought I had gall stones. as i get a griping under the right chest

Suggest you give up the booze for a while mate. Also, start drinking liver cleansing teas and take a liver herbal formula with Dandelion and Milk thistle etc.

    It all helps.

FYI I have a slightly elevated ALT as well and now these recent GB attacks.

My advice to you is to give up the bad food and hard alcohol. It's very hard, but you've just got to do it. At the very least cut back. Do more exercise and cut back on fatty foods.
