lnjections after Bunion removal

Being advised by the surgeon l will need to administer an injection daily for about a week to reduce the chance of dvt. Not keen has anyone else been through this. Thanks for any advice Emmie

    Hi emmie394,

    I had to do this following my TKR.  You don't need to worry. The nurses teach you how to do this and it's pretty much painless. The syringe is preloaded so you don't have to work out any doses and it's quick and easy to use. I found the thought of doing it was far worse than the actual doing. I did however find that I had a lovely bruises after each injection but they soon disappeared. Good luck with everything x,
