Loading dose eliquis

Information no longer needed.he hospital for four days for dvt/pe. I was put on Eliquis.

Two different drs told me that i would be on the loading dose for 7 days. Also, the hospitalist and discharg dr told me i would change doses after the 1

When i got home the paperwork changed the date for an additional 5 days (total 12 days) of the loading dose. I'm sure its a mistake but I only get the runaround when trying to call the hospital back. I was in between primaries so i cant get an answer from them.

Everywhere online, including the dosing guide from Eliquis says 7 day loading dose. I think I'm going to follow my gut and do what i was told and change the loading after 7 days not what's
