Loads of stinky stuff leaking out of my bum - what do I do?

Hi there, at the beginning of the month I was prescribed metrodiazole and amoxicillin for a gum infection. I had awful diarrhea and the gradually my bowels got back to normal, apart from the fact that I was having a lot of yellow mucus when I had a bm. Sometimes it was also mixed with a bit of blood.
Last night the leakage was enough to wet my pants and then this morning I got up and found that the back of my pyjamas was soaked. This stuff stinks of fish.
Any advice, I have a barium enema booked for tomorrow but don't really want to take the laxatives with things being as they are. I'd like to know what to say to my gp when I go so they don't fob me off.
It has scared me to be honest. I'm fed up of my digestive system doing the dirty on me this year!
I had a colonoscopy at the end of May which came back clear, btw.
Hoping someone can help

My Dove. I think you should have a word with your doctor about what is happening, ASAP, Having yellow mucus could be from the amoxicillin which is yellow, so that could be the reason of that in your poo. As for the other thing that it smells fishy, that could indicate another infection after you had the colonscopy even though you say this was done in May If you can postpone the barium enema that you have booked for tomorrow, for another time, until you can find out what is going on with the smell you are having. I can understand that you are scared but please sort that out first. When you see your gp dont be worried about what to say, just tell him or her whats be going on, and you think that having the barium enema and having to take the laxatives before hand you may not be able to hold it for the time it states before going to the loo, and you dont want to have a accident on the way. I hope this helps you in some way. :-(
