Doctor prescribed yesterday and think I may have suffered an allergic reaction. Horrendous headache all night, very itchy head and face is swollen this morning. Anyone else experienced this?

Still experiencing horrendous side effects. Massive headache, hot and cold sweats, itchy head and other parts of the body. Guess this all down to withdrawal from Trazadone (4 weeks) and then immediate change to Lofepramine. Now stopped too

Yes I did thanks.  Medication now stopped. Unfortunately still suffering headaches, hot and cold sweats. GP suggested starting the Lofepramine in 2 weeks. Not sure about it though. Have made a referral for CBT

Yes puts you off a bit when you get a bad reaction like that. Can’t he try you on something different??

Unfortunately I have tried several antidepressants over the years, either I couldn’t tolerate or didn’t really work. Thanks for your concern
